Ingredients

  • 500 grams Thin Spaghetti Noodle
  • 500 grams Ground Beef
  • 6 pieces Beef Hot Dog (Virginia or any brand)
  • 1 Large Chopped Onion
  • 3 cloves Chopped Garlic
  • ½ cup Grated Cheddar Cheese or any cheese
  • 1 cup Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 2 cup Sweet Pasta Sauce or Tomato Sauce
  • 3 tablespoon Vegetable Cooking Oil
  • 2 teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • Salt and Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Add 3 tablespoon of vegetable cooking oil in the pot. Once it is hot, add onion and garlic. Stir for few minutes or till it is almost cooked
  • Add ground beef and give it a quick stir. Let it saute for 5 minutes or till the juices of the ground beef is almost evaporated.
  • Add soy sauce and oyster sauce in the pot. Stir to combine with the ground beef.
  • Add hot dog, and let it cook for 2 minutes.
  • Pour the ketchup and pasta / tomato sauce. Slowly mix with the ground beef and hot dog mixtures.
  • Lower the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes
  • Add sugar, salt and black pepper in the pot for seasoning
  • Turn off the heat, and then pour the spaghetti mixture sauce over the cooked noodle on a plate. Top it with shredded cheddar cheese before serving.

Notes

  • You can use Banana ketchup instead of Tomato ketchup.
  • If you don't have cheddar cheese, you can use any processed cheese
  • Although not traditional, you can use fettuccine or any type of pasta
  • While making the sauce, cooked the noodle at the same time so you can pour the spaghetti sauce right away
