Chicken Giniling Recipe

A Filipino ground chicken dish called Chicken Giniling which is mixed with raisins, potatoes, carrots, chickpeas, tomato paste and soy sauce,

- 500 gram of ground chicken
- 1 medium red onion chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic chopped
- ½ cup of raisins
- ½ cup of chopped carrots
- 1 cup of chopped potatoes
- ¾ cup of chickpeas
- 2 teaspoon of tomato paste
- 3 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoon of soy sauce
- Salt and Black Pepper for Taste
Add vegetable oil to the pan. Once it becomes hot, add chopped garlic. Stir for less than 30 seconds
Add chopped onion. Stir for 1 minute
Add ground chicken. Mix to stir and then let it cook for3 to 5 minutes
Add chopped potatoes and carrots. Stir to mix. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Pour soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix gently
Add chickpeas and raisins. Stir again
Add tomato paste. Mix to combine and let it cook for a few minutes before turning off the heat.
Serve it with rice.
You can add corn kernels if you like
You can use tomato sauce instead of tomato paste
