Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 egg for spreading on top
  • ½ cup Cream Cheese Use 1 cup if you are adding more portion

Instructions

  • Firstly, combine brown sugar and yeast with warm water in a small plate bowl.
  • Pour the yeast-water mixture into the flour. Mix gently until it forms a soft consistency. Make sure it's not watery or too dry. Cover it and leave it for 1 hour to grow.
  • Heat the pan in medium heat. When its already hot, take a portion of the dough and use either your hands or a dough scraper to spread it out.
  • Now, before adding the egg on top of the crepe, whisk the egg with salt and black pepper. Spread it around gently.
  • Next, spread it around with cheese. And then flip it to the opposite side and allow a few minutes to cook.
  • After that, fold it in half, and fold it again to make it into a triangular shape. Transfer it to the plate. Serve this regag bread with hot tea.

Notes

  • For dessert variation, you can use nutella or any chocolate sauce as a topping.
  • If the batter is too thick, add a bit more water; if it's too watery, add a little more flour.
